Guardian K9 was founded by Scott Tarpley. Scott’s background includes a stint in Special Forces from 1980-1984 / St. Louis County Police Department from 1985 – 1993 and graduating first in class from The Tom Rose School for Professional Dog Trainers in St. Louis Missouri. Scott first attended the Group Lessons at the Tom Rose School around 1986 and has used some of the methods learned to train numerous dogs through the years. He was so amazed with the teaching that he finally quit his job to go back to the school as a professional student and open his own business here in Dyersburg.
